Easter Passport

Here is a group activity for telling the Easter story from the birth of Christ through the ascension.

Each student has a passport (printable on 8 1/2 x 11 card stock – Open Office .odg / Acrobat .pdf). They travel as a group (or in small groups) to 13 different stations where they hear a portion of the story. At each station, the children get a sticker to place on their passport. The stations are as follows:

  1. Jesus is born. (Open Office .odt / Acrobat .pdf)
  2. Jesus becomes a teacher. (Open Office .odt / Acrobat .pdf)
  3. Jesus enters Jerusalem where they want to make him king. (Open Office .odt / Acrobat .pdf)
  4. Jesus eats the last supper with his disciples. (Open Office .odt / Acrobat .pdf)
  5. Judas leaves to betray him. (Open Office .odt / Acrobat .pdf)
  6. The disciples and Jesus go to Gethsemane to pray. Jesus is arrested in the morning. (Open Office .odt / Acrobat .pdf)
  7. Jesus is mocked before Pilate and Herod. They put a crown of thorns on him. (Open Office .odt / Acrobat .pdf)
  8. Jesus is crucified. (Open Office .odt / Acrobat .pdf)
  9. Jesus’ body is placed in a tomb. (Open Office .odt / Acrobat .pdf)
  10. Mary sees the risen Christ. (Open Office .odt / Acrobat .pdf)
  11. Peter and John see the empty tomb and the angels. (Open Office .odt / Acrobat .pdf)

The stickers can be printed onto a sheet of labels. They were designed to be used with Avery labels (Template 5160. 2.63″ x 1″ – 30 per sheet). After printing, cut the labels vertically, cutting each label in half, making a total of 60 stickers per sheet. 13 sheets of labels will yield enough stickers for 60 students.
